eKEY Basic for Android Now Available

Dear Supra Customer,

eKEY for the Android is now available! Turn your Android phone into a lockbox key in two easy steps. First download the eKEY app from the Android Market. Note that this link will only work directly from your mobile phone. The download is free and it includes a demo version that lets you try all features risk free. Next, purchase a small hardware device, called the eKEY Fob that translates Bluetooth to Infrared. Please note that you must also be enrolled in the eKEY Basic service.

How to Get eKEY for Android

Turning your Android phone into your lock box key is a simple process which involves the following:

1. Download and install the eKEY for Android application from the Android Market. Go to the Android Market and search for “eKEY”.
2. Purchase an eKEY Fob from your Association or MLS or from Supra. If you already have an eKEY Fob (if for example you have used it with a BlackBerry in the past) you do not need to purchase a new fob.
3. Obtain an eKEY Basic key from your Association or MLS. They will provide you with an authorization code, a key number, and a PIN.
4. Open the eKEY for Android app on your phone and click on the Activate eKEY button. It will prompt you to enter your authorization code. Once this code is entered, your phone will sync with our system and you will be ready to open lock boxes with your phone!

Supra Network Maintenance

Dear Customers,

Beginning at 7:30 p.m. PT, Friday Nov.19 the following services will not be available: phone support, pay by phone and fax and email support. This is due to a network upgrade at our Salem, Oregon facility.

Phone support will resume at 5 a.m. PT on Saturday November 20.

Email support and fax support will resume by 5 a.m. PT  on Monday Nov 22.

We’ve scheduled the upgrade to have minimal impact on keyholders.  Our datacenters are not affected by the upgrade, so keys will be able to update through cradles or the Internet, and SupraWEB will be available.

Supra Maintenance Release Information

Dear Valued Customer,

Last night we made two enhancements to the showing notification and feedback tool:

-          Email showing notifications to CC email addresses have been re-enabled.  Previously, notifications were going to keyholders who did not have that keybox in their inventory.  This has been resolved.

-          At times keyholders received old showing notifications.  This was usually caused by eKEY “back reads” that could sneak back into the system.  Now, if the showing is older than 7 days, we do not send it in the email notification.   Subscribers will still be able to obtain all historical and current showing activity from SupraWEB or their Broker data feeds.

Office Login in SupraWEB: New Reports to assist managing your office’s key boxes

As you are aware, we have recently launched SupraWEB, which replaces KIMweb as our key box, and listing management tool. In addition to enhancing the agent-focused features, we have added an office level interface as well.

Office Login Features

  • The office login provides reports for all the lock boxes that are assigned to the office, as well as all the showings performed by agents in that office.
  • The office login does not require the user to be a keyholder. It is a separate login, not tied to specific key serial number.
  • Reports can be viewed in a table form on the website, or they can be downloaded in a CSV file format. This file format can be opened in a spreadsheet program.

How to take advantage of this new feature

The new office login can be accessed by clicking on the following link: https://supraweb.suprakim.com/Kimweb/Office.mvc/Login

To login you will need the following information:

  1. Office ID
  2. Office Password
  3. Board or MLS

Each office has a unique Office ID and Password. In the event that you do not have this information, please provide the following information on your company  letter head:

  1. Office Manager/Broker First and Last Name
  2. Office Name
  3. Office Address
  4. Office Telephone number
  5. Email address
  6. Your desired password. Can contain letters and numbers, and must be between 3 and 8 characters.

Fax this information to 503-589-8677. You will receive an email within 3 business days with your login information.

eKEY iPhone Instructions and Reference Material

Dear Supra Customers,
The eKEY for the iPhone is off to a terrific start! It has already become one of the Top 20 Business Apps in Apple’s store.
The following two items address questions that we’ve received regarding issuing the eKEY for the iPhone.
  1. A customer has downloaded eKEY for iPhone application and used it in “Demo Mode.” How does the customer exit demo mode?

    1. Open the eKEY application.
    2. Select the About icon.
    3. Scroll to the bottom of the window.
    4. Select Reset Authorization.
    5. Enter an Authorization Code provided by the association, Supra Support or from SupraWEB.

Showing Feedback

eKEY for the iPhone is now available! Turn your iPhone into a lockbox key in two easy steps. First download the eKEY app from the Apple iTunes store. The download is free and it includes a demo version that lets you try all features risk free. Next, purchase a small hardware device, called the Supra eKEY Adapter that plugs into the bottom of your phone. Please note that you must also be enrolled in the eKEY Basic service.

If you are interested in purchasing an adapter, please contact your Association or MLS. If your Association or MLS does not have them in inventory, you may order an adapter directly from Supra starting on August 23rd. An order form will be available on www.supraekey.com. Please note that the form will not be available until August 23rd. The price for the adapters is $54.95, plus any applicable sales tax and shipping and handling charges.

SupraWEB Maintenance Release Announcement

Dear Supra Customer,

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade our systems, we performed an update to SupraWEB last night.  This maintenance release made the following improvements to the system.

  1. In some cases an agent could get an update code by logging into SupraWEB, even when they should have been required to sync their key.  This has been corrected and will help ensure that showing information is as current as possible.
  2. In rare instances, an agent could log into SupraWEB and be logged into another agent’s account.  We have made some changes to our firewall system that  will correct this problem.
  3. There have been some cases where key boxes added to an agent’s inventory  disappeared after additional boxes where added via SupraNET.  We  have  made changes to  correct  this.
  4. Agents will no longer see the incorrect error message  ”Error looking up the keybox serial number from the MLS#”  that occasionally popped up when assigning keyboxes using MLSi.

What Will Not Be Available?
  • At 5pm PDT, only update codes will be available on SupraWEB and KIMvoice.
  • At 5:30pm PDT SupraNET will not be available, but until then will function as normal.
What Will Be Available?
  • SupraWEB and KIMvoice will both be available for update codes only.
  • Keyholders will be able to eSYNC during the maintenance period.
  • Supra Keyholder Support, 877-699-6787, will be available to provide assistance for any keyholder who needs to update their key.
