<p>As a result of recent statutory changes, effective January 1, 2008, a seller has an obligation to make specific disclosures if the property being sold is subject to a private transfer fee. The new Notice of Transfer Fee form (NTF) contains the questions the seller is obligated to answer. </p><br />

The C.A.R. Tech Hotline, which has answered members' tech-related questions since 2003, will no longer be available as of April 1, 2007, due to declining demand for the service. As REALTORS® have incorporated the Internet, online transactions, cell phones, PDAs and the like into their day-to-day lives, they also have become more technologically proficient. However, assistance for WINForms® product-related inquiries is available through the C.A.R. Customer Contact Center at (213) 739-8227 or RE FormsNet at (586) 840-0140. RELAY™ product-related inquiries should be directed to (586) 840-1168.
Microsoft has just released Internet Explorer 7.0 last week. This version of IE is not completely compatible with the Matrix System. There is an error while trying to save pictures. MRMLS is aware of the issue and they are working on finding a solution to the problem. So, if you have already installed IE 7.0 and need to save pictures from the Matrix you have to either uninstall IE 7.0 and go back to IE 6.x (version 6.x will come back automatically after you uninstall version 7.0) OR you can download and install Mozilla Firefox (its a free download) from www.GetFirefox.com.
