On Thursday, May 5th, the CRMLS Matrix Platform will be updated with the following changes:

Status Date Changes

The following automatically populated date fields will be updated to leverage the date input by a member, when available, rather than the system timestamp.

• Date Status Changed
• Date Off Market
• Date Back on Market
• Date CMA Status

For example when a listing is set to Pending, the Date Status Changed will now reflect the Pending Date input by the member instead of the date the change was made.

If you need to search for status changes based on when the change was made in the MLS, use the new Timestamp Status Change and Timestamp Off Market fields to perform your search. These fields are useful when tracking all changes that were input in the MLS within a given
timeframe.

In addition to the date changes, a new CMA search page will be added to the CRMLS Matrix Platform. The CMA search page makes searching for comparables quick and easy by providing you with a set of commonly used CMA related search fields.

iTech ML Number Changes

All iTech ML numbers that begin with a G will have the G replaced with a 1, and all iTech ML numbers that begin with a P will have the P replaced with a 2. Refer to examples in the table below:

The iTech ML Number change will not affect existing saved searches or auto emails.

On May 2nd from 10 PM to 6 AM, the CRMLS Discover Platform will be temporarily offline to deploy the following new features and updates.

Mobile Discover All users will now be able to access a new version of CRMLS Discover Platform designed specifically for mobile devices. To access Mobile Discover, click the link for your MLS:

User Password Change

All users will now be able to change their own password. To change your password, click on your name at the top-right of the CRMLS Discover Platform and select Change Password.

Map Pin Pop-ups

When viewing the search criteria or search results map, hover your mouse over a map pin to display a pop-up window with the listing’s address, photos, and other information. You can also double-click the map pin to open the full Listing Detail page.

Auto Prospecting Updates

Auto Prospecting now allows you to add a custom message to your auto emails and select how often the system sends email notifications to your clients.

Current List View

The Print Current List View feature has been improved for better readability and printing.

The CRMLS Matrix Platform will be offline on Wednesday, February 9^th from 9 PM to 6 AM to deploy version 5.5 of the CRMLS Matrix Platform.

This new version of the CRMLS Matrix Platform brings many new and exciting features that many of you have requested and will transform the way you work.

New Features

• Residential Statistical Reports
  Quickly generate simple and straightforward charts and graphs to analyze market trends in your market area.
• Auto Email Concierge
  Gives you complete control over the listings that are sent to your client by allowing you to preview, approve, reject, or leave listings for further consideration before sending them to your client.
• Contact Carts
  Each of your active contacts in the CRMLS Matrix Platform will now have their own individual cart for you to save listings in.
• Count on the Fly
  Instantly displays the number of properties that match your search criteria while you select individual fields on a search page without having to click the Results button.
• Goggles
  Allow you to view listings from your client’s perspective and see what you’ve emailed your client and if your client has marked the listing as a favorite, possibility, or discarded the property.
• Navigation Bar Improvements
  Quickly view where you’re at in the CRMLS Matrix Platform using the new Breadcrumb trail located just below the Navigation Bar.

In most real estate transactions, there are two sides to a deal — Listing and Selling.  Currently, when you update your listing status to Backup, Pending or Sold and report any Non-Member Selling or Co-Selling Agent their Name, Office and DRE License Number is not displayed in MRMLS Matrix.  A Non-Member is anyone who is not a participant of CARETS.*

Starting Tuesday, October 5^th, if you report a Non-Member Selling or Co-Selling Agent, you will be required to enter their First Name, Last Name, Office Name and DRE License Number.

In some instances, the DRE License Number maybe missing from some participants of CARETS.  If it is missing, you will be required to input their DRE License Number before you can submit your status change.

*Note:  Participants of CARETS are CLAW, CRISNet, iTech, SoCal, and MRMLS members.  You can find any CARETS member Selling or Co-Selling Public ID by clicking on the “Find” link when you update your listing status to Back-up, Pending or Sold.

MRMLS Matrix will be temporarily offline on September 15, 2010 from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

MRMLS will be modifying existing fields and adding new fields to MRMLS Matrix. Refer to the list of changes below.

Key Updates and Additions

• Additional Cities, Areas and Counties will be added to the continuous growth of MRMLS and CARETS.
• The Off Market Date, CMA Status Date and Date Status Changed fields will now reflect the contractual date input by members in MRMLS Matrix.  If you need to search for listings based on the date the listings were updated in MRMLS Matrix, you will need to use the Timestamp Off Market and Timestamp Status Change.
• The Occupant Information fields will be renamed to Showing Contact Type, Showing Contact Name and Showing Contact Phone.
• The Vacant option in the Showing Contact Type field will be moved to the Showing Instructions field.
• A new Selling Office Comp Remarks field will be added to the MRMLS Matrix. (Conditional/discriminatory compensation restrictions still apply as defined in the CARETS Data Integrity Standards)
• Additional options will be added to the Heating, Cooling, Interior, Appliances, Structure and Roofing fields to reflect the modern features available on the market.
• Additional mountain community feature options will be added to the Lot/Community field.
• A new Year Built Source field will be added to identify the source of year built.

Smart Fax is introducing Custom Fax Cover Sheets on September 15.

Smart Fax custom cover sheets allow you to add additional recipients to receive a copy of the fax in their
e-mail.

This custom coversheet will automatically email a pdf of incoming faxes to any email address you specify.  This is helpful if you are working with a co-listing agent, brokers, sellers or other parties in the real estate transaction.   The number of custom fax cover sheets you can create is unlimited, so you can create as many as you need.
