This is a "Political Action Committee". If I don't agree with an issue or politics being promoted by the committee I shouldn't be forced to support the committee's position financially. It should be my choice, not CAR's BOD. I have been a Realtor for over 10 years and have paid the $49.00 every year voluntarily. If it becomes mandatory you can then increase the amount of the "Contribution" at will. Don't you think we pay enough Professional dues/fees to NAR, CAR & local Associations now? Not to mention DRE fees! This is really arrogant on the part of those elected individuals who are supposed to be representing Realtors. Please reconsider this new "Mandatory Contribution". Isn't that an oxymoron? You are about to "Tick-off" (to put it nicely) your membership big time! Question: Is it legal to force members to "contribute" to a PAC?
