MRMLS offers Continuing Education Credits

MRMLS is the first Multiple Listing Service to offer Department of Real Estate Continuing Education Credits in the Consumer Service Category.  Two hours of continuing education credits are given for each for Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Listing Management Matrix class.  These classes are offered at your local Association or Board of REALTORS®. Go to www.mrmlsu.com for the training calendar, online videos and other training materials.

MRMLS training classes include the following:

  • Basic Matrix **
  • Intermediate Matrix**
  • Advanced Matrix**
  • Listing Management**
  • Realist Tax
  • Pinpoint Mapping
  • Smart Trac
  • enCMA
  • Wyldfyre7

**C.E. Credit Class

PLEASE NOTE: The regularly scheduled Matrix classes (3rd Thursday for Basic Matrix training, and last Mon. for Advanced Matrix Training each month) @ SRCAR DO NOT offer continuing education credits. We will be offering a few classes for credit in addition to the regular offerings. The reason for this is because they have to test on each section for credit and not as much information can be covered in the “for credit” sessions. We will offer the first for credit sessions in March. Online sessions for these for credit classes might be offered in the future.

eKEY for BlackBerry is Coming Soon

December 11, 2008

Dear GE Security Customer:

Exciting news from GE Security! We are pleased to announce that we will be releasing eKEY for BlackBerry later this month. In preparation for this, I wanted to provide you with a few details about the product and provide information about how your members can begin using their BlackBerry as their lockbox key.

eKEY Basic for BlackBerry will be available later this month, and eKEY Professional will follow in March of 2009. Pricing for eKEY for BlackBerry will be the same as your current eKEY prices. The eKEY solution will work on the following BlackBerry devices: Pearl, Curve, Pearl Flip, Bold, 8800 series, and the Storm.

eKEY for BlackBerry will require the use of a small piece of hardware called the eKEY Fob. The fob will translate the Bluetooth in the BlackBerry to Infrared in the iBox. This piece is required because BlackBerry devices do not have an Infrared Port. A full description of the eKEY solution, including the eKEY Fob can be seen by clicking on the eKEY for BlackBerry Flyer link to the right.

Your members can purchase the fobs directly from GE Security for $49.95 plus shipping and applicable taxes. An order form will be available on the Order Forms section of supraekey.com as soon as fobs are available.

In preparation for the launch of this exciting product, we wanted to give you the opportunity to pre order eKEY Fobs. We anticipate having eKEY Fobs ready to ship by 12/18. By ordering fobs now, you will be shipped your order as soon as they are available.

A brief training presentation on the eKEY for BlackBerry solution can be viewed online by clicking on the eKEY for BlackBerry Training link. In addition, there is a PowerPoint presentation attached which can be viewed by clicking on the eKEY for BlackBerry Training Presentation link to the right.  The eKEY for BlackBerry QuickStart Guide is also available to the right.

If you have members that are interested in getting a new BlackBerry to use as an eKEY, RIM (the makers of BlackBerry) have put together a free fob offer. This offer is only available online and can be seen by clicking the Free Fob offer link to the right. The offer is being made by RIM, and they are using a third party to manage this offer website. When an agent purchases a new BlackBerry and service through this site, they will receive a free eKEY Fob. Please note that your members should be sure to compare prices on this site with what they might get in their retail store.
